A few weeks ago Nate was promoted to a full-time position at work. This news was so exciting for us! It takes years of work and experience to get an advancement like this with Nate's company so he has worked for and looked forward to getting a promotion for quite some time.
We celebrated the big news by enjoying Nate's favorite dessert, a chocolate silk pie from Marie Calendars, topped off with some cream soda and ginger ale.
This promotion could not have come at a better time for us! We will now have a little bit more of an allowance to play with in Europe and when we come home we will be able to start working our way
through Dave Ramsey's Baby Steps again! We had to put the Baby Steps on hold when we decided to go to Europe. Instead of putting all of our earnings toward our debt, we put it in a savings account for our vacation. We both agree that this trip was worth it, but we are ready to get back on the plan as soon as we get home.
We feel so blessed to have received this promotion and can't wait to see ourselves debt-free in (hopefully) a matter of months!
