My side of the family had the fun opportunity to get together a few weeks ago to take family pictures.
This was a particularly special photography session because our dogs were invited to be in our photos! I'm excited to share some of the images with you because I think they turned out beautifully.
A special thanks to Kelly from Gallery Photography for doing an excellent job as usual!

Between myself, my parents, and my brothers there are 6 dogs, but only 5 were patient enough to pose for this group picture. From left to right: Kava (Dachshund/Yorkie mix), Kapalua a.k.a. Lulu (Yorkie), Kona (Maltese/Poodle mix), Ka'anapali a.k.a. Ka'ana (Maltese/Poodle mix), and Maui (Dachshund/Yorkie mix). Not pictured: Briar (Yellow Lab).
We had such a fun time taking family pictures with our dogs that it just might become a tradition from now on. After all, they are equally important in our little family!
On a separate note, I have some good news! I mentioned before that I was on the market for a second job. This past weekend I was offered an on-call position as a Registrar in the Emergency Room of a local hospital! I am so excited about this new opportunity. I felt like I bombed the interview so the offer came as a very unexpected surprise!
After much discussion and pondering I have decided to leave my current job to open more time for my new job, for school, and most importantly for my husband. It was a heartbreaking decision to leave because I adore my job and the people I work with, but I feel as though I've become a bit too comfortable in my current position and have achieved above and beyond what I expected to get out of it when I first began. I am looking forward to the new challenges and opportunities that come with becoming familiar with a new trade. It will certainly be difficult at first; hospitals never close so I will be working graveyard shifts and holidays, but I look forward to a new chance to learn and grow!
Do you have any advice for me as I start my new job? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Life changes are hard, but it sounds like you're making a good one!!! Your pictures are cute too! :)
