Au Revoir!

I started this adorable little blog earlier this year because I love to write but never got around to it anywhere near enough to itch my scratch of wanting to put pen to paper. This past year I have struggled over and over again with managing the many stresses that have been negatively affecting my physical, emotional, and social well-being. I was hoping both then and now that owning a cute little blog such as this would encourage me to write more. Although I have struggled keeping up, I am determined not to let my passion for writing and my desire to blog fade away. After all, every day for the past year I have formulated posts in my mind almost on a daily basis but never get around to actually writing them down. So I commit to you, cute little blog, that I will never neglect you again! I hope to blog at least once a week to keep my writing flame alive.  

Fortunately enough, I finally have something exciting to write about! Something that takes up all of my daydreams, encourages me to save up every penny and sacrifice Christmas presents for, something that makes me want spend every extra moment planning and even leads me to talking to strangers...

 

Next year I will get fulfill my lifelong dream of going to PARIS! Not only do I finally get to visit France, but Nate and I are also going to backpack Europe for three-and-a-half weeks! That's a LONG time to leave Kona! We're going to start in the UK and make our way around the continent. We have the first two weeks roughly planned, but there are 8 days left that are, as of right now, completely open to whatever we want to do. Nate and I are considering spending the extra time exploring all of Italy (we won't make our way down to the lower boot in the first two weeks), but I am so overwhelmed by the possibilities that I have no idea how to decide where to go, what to see and what to do there. Any advice from my fellow travelers would be greatly appreciated!

 This brings me back to the point of this post. In an effort to cultivate both past hobbies and current passions I want to inspire myself and anyone else who would like to follow me as I write about preparing to take this long-awaited trip of a lifetime! I am so excited to talk about our exciting Black Friday purchase for our trip...
